2/16/2024 0 Comments Nascar smash carsI will ONLY use characters originally created for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, so no cartoons that existed prior to their inception or shows based on franchises (No Scooby Doo, Teen Titans, TMNT etc.) and even then I'm biased towards certain cartoons (No Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gumball, Loud House, Regular Show etc.) Pretty much cartoons before 2007. 31 and 48 would've been in the same race, both driving for Lowe's 23 and 90 would've been in the same race, both driving for Hills Bros. 14 and 41 would've been in the same race, both driving for Conseco (in '01, 41 was the same sponsor and paint scheme as 14, but I chose the '02 Target car for my list) ![]() ![]() 7 and 68 would've been in the same race, both driving for Nations Rent 01 and 04 would've been in the same race, both driving for Cingular 82 and 83 were in several races together, both driving for Red Bull 26 and 66 were in several race together, both driving for Kmart 9 and 19 were in several races together, both driving for Dodge I may even allow cars from other seasons and series if there are memorable car numbers that aren't currently here (0, 37, 38, 41, 60, 74, etc.)Īny cars that have the same sponsor as other cars is something that NASCAR allows in reality: The cars mostly come from the 2001 Winston Cup season (the first season I ever watched), but I make exceptions for 20 since the '00, '01 and '02 cars look similar in some cases. Over time the idea has grown and evolved into something much bigger than I could have imagined. It began as a simple idea: What if my favorite cartoon characters drove in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series? A melding of two of my favorite passions as a kid. This image represents a project I've been working on here and there for twenty years. IMPORTANT: Nothing in this is final, everything is in a constant state of change.
